The discussion centered around the following items:

1. After a discussion regarding conforming BW's web page to the district's web page it was decided that at this time there was no need to conform. However, when it does need to be changed it can be easily done. There will be pages added to our page: QIT, PFA, History of the Log Cabin, and Elementary Cirriculum.
2. We are currently looking for funds in order to purchase blocking software. The cost is estimated to be $1200.
3. Steve Wirth will speak to American Cable regarding placement of cable in the following rooms: 1C, GOAL, Kindergarten, Principal's Conference Room, Learning Support Room, Reading Lab, Art, Music, LGI, Faculty Lounge, Speech Room, Supply Room.
4. T1 charges will be handled by Dr. Becich through September.
5. A web page workshop will be scheduled for August. We will use the Claris Home Page Software. The workshop will be scheduled for 12 hours.
6. All necessary forms have been submitted to qualify for the 20% e-rate.
7. Dave Edmunds will fill the vacancy left by Sabra McConnell as parent representative on the Internet Board.
8. We would like to begin to partner with the district in our fund raising efforts However,we would also like to accept any grants that corporations would like to target to a particular school. Linda Kamzelski suggested we send a memo to the board regarding fund raising consent.
9. A Gant Chart will be formulated at our first meeting next year.
10. Meetings for the 1998-99 school year will be held on the first Thursday of each month.
11. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 1998 at 8:00 a.m. in the principal's conference room.
