The discussion centered around the following items:

1. The Board will institute a Gantt Chart in order to track the many projects we are working on.Reed Powell will work on this; however, he does need information about the projects in order to formulate the chart.
2. Michael Becich will continue paying the T1 charges until the district installs the OC3 line. The North Allegheny School Board still needs to approve the OC3 line. If it is approved shortly, it will be at least summer until the line is in place.
3. There will be a Technology Conference at Carnegie Science Center on Thursday, March 4, 1999. Margee Begley, Joyce McMillen, Amy Tarchick and Barb Schmid could possibly be presenters. We need to send an overview to the Technology Conference organizers in order to be considered as presenters.
4. Barb Schmid will check with Linda Kamzelski regarding plans to link our web page to the NA web page. We will then update our web page to match the NA web page. We will also contact Len Thompson in order to get names of N.A. students to help maintain our web page.
5. We need 3 monitors and computer carts for our Gateway computers. We will then set a date for the set up of the Gateways. We need 1 or 2 people to work with Ben Craigo. We then need to gather a list of placements for the computers and do the IP addressing in advance.
6. As our next step for our Greenhouse concept, Barb Schmid will provide a 15 minute presentation to formally present to Tony Carbo - Dean of Information Systems at University of Pittsburgh in order to get guidance and support.
7. Dr. Becich will discuss rescheduling the Web Page workshop with Ben Craigo.
8. We will contact Hank McCarthy regarding our WAN - NA plans. Hopefully he will be able to provide us with a Technology Strategic Plan.
