The File Menu
These are the commands you'll find under the file menu, and what they do:

New Web Browser - Opens a new Netscape session and loads the default home page that's specified under Preferences in the Options menu.

Open Location - Brings up a dialogue box. You can type a URL in the box, hit return, and that page will be loaded.

Open File in Browser - Allow you to open a file which is local to your computer. If this file is formatted in HTML, it will be formatted properly on in the Netscape Window. This command is useful if you've exported your Bookmarks file as HTML, and wish to open them as a Web page.

Save As - Allows you to save the current page your on as either Text (no formatting tags) or Source (including HTML tags).

Mail Document - Allows you to e-mail a copy of the current page to someone, if you've set up your e-mail information in Preferences under the Option menu. The URL is included on the Subject line. If you click the "Document Text" button on the e-mail window, it will include a text only version of the current page. Or, you can send it as a MIME attachment.

Page Setup - Standard Mac Page Setup screen which allows you to control some printing functions.

Print - Brings up print dialogue box to print the current page. Same as Print button.

Close - Closes the current window.

Exit - Quits Netscape
