A Plan for Staff In-Service Session NET SURFING WITH NETSCAPE

The Bookmarks Menu
Bookmarks are a great feature of Netscape. They allow you to keep your own personal list of URLs that you think are cool and useful. Your bookmark list is saved as a file in your Netscape Preferences folder (in the Preferences Folder inside the System Folder). You can also export the list as an HTML file, which you can define as your default Home Page to load at start-up, or which you can pass along to a friend.

These are the commands you'll find under the Bookmarks menu, and what they do:

Add Bookmark - This command adds the URL for the current page you're viewing to your Bookmark list. After you do 'Add Bookmark", the title of that page will appear under your Bookmarks menu.

Go to Bookmarks - This command opens a separate Bookmark management window. This Bookmarks window allows you to see all your bookmarks, reorganize them, add hierarchical menu categories, add divider lines, and export your bookmarks as HTML.
